Jing-A Brewing Now Sells Bottled Beer
By Noelle Mateer
Finally, finally, Jing-A Brewing has gotten into the bottle game. After years selling its ultra-popular Workers Pale Ale on tap in restaurants and bars across town, Jing-A has made the brew portable. And... plaid.
Jing-A is so well-known among Beijing expats that many are surprised to learn that the brewery doesn’t already sell bottled beers. The original bottle-slingers were Slow Boat, who were distributing bottles of their Zombie Pirate Pale Ale long before they ever had a glitzy three-story taproom in Sanlitun.
Arrow Factory and Panda Brew also now sell bottles around the city. So look out for a little local color next time you visit your favorite hutong beer fridge.
